All too often, trying to maintain a high level of exertion in the midst of a busy life leads to exhaustion and burnout, leaving you with a variety of concerning physical and mental health consequences.

On a physical level, you might be experiencing chronic health problems that just don’t go away. On a mental level, you may find that your focus has shifted from your goals and ambitions in life, to just surviving another day.

You may find yourself lost in a mental haze, feeling chronically sad, anxious and ill, and miles away from the potential that you once thought yourself capable of. The good news is that it is possible to put an end to this cycle!

In our counselling therapy sessions, you’ll be given space to talk in a non-judgmental and confidential environment. We’ll explore your inner dialogue, emotions, belief systems and coping responses and how these may be holding you back. Mindfulness will play a role in our sessions as you cultivate awareness of limiting patterns and transform your relationship to them. You will become empowered with a sense of freedom to live presently, with a greater sense of control and authenticity in your life.

Overall, my counselling style is warm and values-driven, using a blend of Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy approaches. It will allow you to take more control in designing the course of your life, while encouraging commitment to making lasting changes.
